Graphics/CPU Benchmarks

The following set of benchmarks stress the CPU and graphics subsystems. Note that the graphics intensive benchmarks really just show the difference between an on board graphics solution vs a standalone AGP solution. We all know that the Radeon 9600XT will kick the pants out of the Intel Extreme Graphics but it'd be nice to see by how much!

POVBench 3.5

Lower scores are better. In POVBench 3.5, the HT enabled Pentium 4 processor outperformed the AMD Athlon 64 box.

SPEC Viewperf 7.1

Higher scores are better. The Radeon enabled SN85G4 is easily beating the integrated graphics on the 845GE chipset.

Cinebench 2003

Lower scores are better. For the most part - the SN85G4 completes the individual tests faster than the 3.06GHz Pentium 4.

3DMark 2001SE

No contest here - higher scores are better and the Radeon wins.

Unreal Tournament 2003 Demo

The same holds true for both Unreal games.
