The P4DCE+ is a large motherboard – make no mistake about that.
It’s an Extended ATX board so make sure you have a large enough
case to fit this board in. I used the Cooler Master ATC 101 case to
house this board. That case provided more than enough room to handle
this motherboard and all the peripherals.

Overall, the P4DCE+ is extremely well laid out. All the power connectors
are lined up on the top part of the motherboard. You will need the
24 pin, 8 pin and 4 pin power connectors that can be found on an EPS12V
PSU. You can get away with putting a 20 pin connector into the 24 pin
socket but you still need the 8 pin power connectors.

The RAMBUS memory slots are located in the middle
of the board above the AGP 4X slot with nothing to block the RIMMs.The
XEON sockets are nicely spaced out and no capacitors are blocking
the heatsink assemblies.

The memory and sockets |
The IDE connectors are below the 2nd CPU socket on the right hand
side of the board while the floppy connector is on the upper right
hand corner.
There are plenty of PCI slots for those
who seemingly have a ton of expansion cards.

Remember that this board
does come with integrated
sound so you won’t exactly need to get add on sound card if sound
isn’t a priority to you.Here's a picture of the I/O ports:
