Maxtor is commonly known as a manufacturer of internal hard drives but did you know that they also sell external hard drive products? The storage industry is currently a booming market as more and more content is made available digitally. With the explosion of audio, video, and digital photographs onto the computing scene, everyone needs more and more physical storage. That 40 GB hard drive just doesn't cut it anymore when DVD's are 4.7 - 9GB in sizes. Now this need encompasses both internal and external environments since there are those who will want a tremendous drive that they can lug from place to place. There are others who just don't have any more room inside their PC systems and external options are all that are left. To that end, the major storage manufacturers have developed products that meet the demands of the portable storage market. The Maxtor OneTouch External Hard Drive is one such product that will allow you to add huge quantities of portable storage to your computer system. We'll be looking at the 120GB version of the OneTouch drive. The drive doubles as a backup system for critical files on PC's using the included software. Come on in and check out this cool looking hard drive.
