Overview - Cont.
Now let's take a look at the inside of the chassis..
Removing the panels is a simple matter of loosening the thumbscrews securing the left and right case panels. Once both panels have been removed, here's a shot of the chassis guts.
As you can see from the pictures here - there are plenty of drive bays for your use - 4 x 5.25" drive bays and 5 x 3.5" drive bays to be exact. Here are close up shots of the drive bays:
Of course - you'll have your standard case wires coming from the front of the chassis as well as from the top:
Earlier - we saw that the case had a rear exhaust fan blowing hot air out of the case. Aiding in the circulation are two front intake case fans located in the lower drive bays.
In traditional Cooler Master fashion, there's a removable motherboard tray with the TAC-T01. Heck - there better be one with a case this expensive!
Here's a shot of the rear case fan from the inside:
Here are shots of the rear PCI slots. Notice that the PCI slots are secured into place using thumbscrews. There could have been easier mechanisms for securing expansion cards but thumbscrews aren't too shabby either.
And finally, here's a picture of the bottom of the TAC-T01 - the chassis feet reminds us of stereo equipment feet.
Now let's move on to building our test system.
