Introduction
If you consider yourself a computer enthusiast, then the name Cooler Master should be quite familiar with you. Over the years, Cooler Master has come to symbolize high end, high quality case designs. We've used a number of their cases here at WhiningDog and we must say that we've never been disappointed with any of their chassis designs. However, the case market is a tough one to compete in with a large number of vendors introducing new designs and also undercutting one another on pricing. Does Cooler Master still have what it takes to design and manufacture high quality cases in this tough market? Today we're going to take a look at the Wave Master TAC-T01 and see if this beautiful black aluminum case continues the Cooler Master tradition of high end chassis. Packaging
The Cooler Master TAC-T01 PC Case came shipped to us in the following package:
One area that Cooler Master has improved on is with their packaging presentation. If you've seen our old reviews of Cooler Master Cases, the chassis came shipped in simple brown cardboard boxes. Not anymore - the TAC-T01 comes in a funky purple box.
Inside, the aluminum case is well protected from the hazards of shipping:
Here are some pictures of the case removed from the packaging - the chassis itself is wrapped in clear plastic and the front door is taped shut to prevent the door from flinging open during transport.
