Usage
As you saw in our setup section of this article, the SST-B032F was extremely easy to use when putting together a new system. There are help diagrams posted all over the case to guide you in your construction project. This is the first time we've ever seen a case that actually had instructions posted on the inside of the chassis. Nice job - no worries about losing the user manual to the case.

The build quality of the case was on the whole - excellent. There were no visible sharp corners and everything was easily secured in place by easy to use locking mechanisms. The entire chassis is well manufactured with a great paint job on the outside. The case is very durable and structurally very stable when fully loaded with equipment. The only downside was the plastic construction of the front panel. As mentioned earlier, some of the plastic pegs used to hold up the front facing broke off during shipment. It's easy to see that these pegs could be the weakest part of the entire chassis. Luckily most users won't need to remove the front panel all that often. It would be nice if you didn't have to remove the panel to install drives but the use of the guide rails requires a frontal insertion.
It's a small ding, but we wished that SilverStone would package some case fans and a power supply for this case. Of course, some of you may not care about this since you'll probably customize the accessories anyhow but it would be nice to at least throw one case into the mix to help with the air flow.
We unfortunately could not comment on actual thermal temperatures of the case since we didn't have enough loose case fans lying about. You won't be able to mount a front case fan to cool the 3.5" hard drives but you can install a side case fan to blow air onto the drive units. There's plenty of case fan mounts all over the case to keep the air flow moving - thus we have no doubts that your ambient system temperatures will be just fine.
The SST-B032F is a solid beefy case. It's not too heavy but it's also not as light as an aluminum case. Here are final pictures of the setup that we made.
The black colored paint finish is pretty smooth looking especially if you have matching equipment.
