Overview

The front of the YH-999 PMC has the following. The upper half of the front is the 3.5inch color TFT display. The lower half of the front have all the main user controls which include the following (from Left to Right):

Power On/Off button, Play/Pause button, Skip/Search button, Move/Select(OK) button, Previous Screen button, and E-Home button (The green button!)

The controls are a little small for my liking but YMMV.

The left hand side of the YH-999 has the following (from Top Down):

Hold Switch, USB Cable Connection Port , and DC-IN Connection Port

The right hand side of the YH-999 has the following (from Top Down):

Volume Controller, and Reset Hole

The top side of the YH-999 has the following (from Left to Right):

Earphone Jack, Remote Control Jack, and A/V Out Jack

The back of the YH-999 has a kickstand which can be brought out by pressing a small switch next to the kickstand.

Here are shots of the included Remote Control. The remote also has a hold switch, a reverse skip/search button, play/pause button, forward skip/search button, and volume control buttons. The remote has a clip to allow you to attach the remote to your clothing or to your belongings.

The YH-999 has a wonderful form factor for a Portable Media Center device. If you've seen the Creative version, the Samsung PMC is smaller and lighter. It does have a slightly smaller screen also but it looks sleeker than the Creative Zen. However, let's not kid ourselves here - the YH-999 is still larger than your normal digital audio player.
