1. Introduction
I've always been interested in photography
throughout most of my life. Last year I switched from using a
traditional SLR camera to a digital camera with the Canon G1. However,
the G1 presented a small problem for me. There were plenty of instances
where I wanted to take snapshots using a simple portable small camera
instead of lugging around the G1. Sure if I wanted detailed beautiful
pictures, then I would opt for the Canon but more often than not, the
picture quality didn't matter to me as much as size and portability. The
G1 wasn't quite the kind of camera that you could just stick into your
pocket (you might just give off the wrong impressions if you did so!).
And so as with all things, we've come upon that moment in time where digital
cameras start to get miniaturized for easy handling and transportation.
The
Casio Exilim EX-M1 is a camera that sets the bar for all other small
format digital cameras to come.
2. Specifications
The Exilim actually comes in two flavors: the
EX-S1 and the EX-M1. The basic difference is that the EX-S1 only takes
