Introduction

Ten years ago, no one dreamed that one could carry thousands of songs in their pocket while roaming about the town or anywhere around the world (OK maybe some of you did but I sure didn’t!). We were all used to the notion of small tape cassette walkman’s and portable CD players. But now, we find ourselves toting around gigabytes of music while we go through our busy daily lives. And no company has managed to succeed as well as Apple has in the MP3 market thus far with the iPod. The 2nd version of the iPod introduced last year made an already wonderful product even better. Could Apple repeat the success and create a more perfect iPod? Well, we take a look at the latest version of the Apple iPod – a 30GB device that has 10GB more hard drive space than the previous top of the line and a new physical appearance.
