Cameras and stuff

Digital cameras are of course also in across Japan. One of the trends in Japan are cell phones with included cameras that can then take snapshots and be emailed to others around the country. Too bad I didn't take a picture of that but one already sees these types of phones appearing in the states though the services in Japan are still far better than what we have here. As for cameras, there weren't that many interesting items but here were some snapshots. Exilim cameras from Casio were a bit item there and you'll notice I even saw the official Casio Exilim cases for them. (Picked one up for myself!). One pretty cool service was the image directly below. This machine accepted different forms of media such as Compact Flash, SD cards etc, and then printed out the digital images that you took that are stored on the media. Across the top middle of the front, you'll see the slots for the different forms of media that can be used by this machine. Pretty nifty service.
